Flirtie is an app for flirting and meeting people who live in your area, and are also interested in you. This means it's not enough to like another person to start contacting them; they also have to be interested in you in order to open a connection and start communicating.

Before starting to use Flirtie, it's a good idea to fill in the information about your interests and hobbies, to make sure you find the right person for you. Also, make sure to select the maximum distance, gender, and age range in the search settings. Once you complete this information, finding someone close to you that matches your interests becomes a lot easier.

In practice, this app is really easy to use. Once you have your information and preferences ready, the app starts showing you other users with the same interests. You can tap the 'pass' button if you're not interested, or the 'flirtie' button if you liked his or her picture or information. Even if you press on the green flirtie button, you can't actually talk to the person unless he or she sees you and presses the same button. When the match happens, you can start chatting.

If you want to expand your profile, you can link your Instagram account so everyone can see your pictures on the social network. If you're not sure if you want to accept a person or not, you can always tap the 'decide later' button, to give you some more time to think about it.
